The Trinity Custom Cabinet Process

After years of working with homeowners just like you we have fine-tuned our custom cabinet design process to make it go as smoothly and simply as possible for you, the homeowner.

1

Step One

Initial Contact

When you first contact us we like to get a good idea of what the scope of your project will be and then, begin discussing your dreams. It is here where we find out if your project is a new home build, a remodel, or simply adding new cabinets to an open space in your home. We will collect photos and plans of your house as needed along with any inspiration photos that you may have.

Step Two

Ballpark Estimate

The ballpark estimate is a very quick way for you to see how your budget aligns with our cabinetry. We will provide you with three estimates at this stage. The first estimate will be your starting price point, this is for a simple design and standard selections. The second estimate will be an average based on the data we keep from all of our jobs from the past 12 months. The third estimate will show you what your budget would be if you select more of the luxury options.

When you decide to move forward with your project we will first collect a design retainer which allows us to proceed with the selections and design process. This design deposit will be in the amount of five percent of your average ballpark estimate and it will be applied to the final cost of your cabinetry.

Step Three

Selections

This meeting will be at our showroom and you’ll be able to see and try out a sampling of the many different features and options from which you can choose. At this meeting you will select the door style, colors, and all the fine details to create a perfect design palette for you. If you are working with an interior design professional you will want to have them join us for this meeting to ensure that your selections fit perfectly with the rest of your home.

Step Four

Design

In order to start the detailed design of your cabinetry we’ll either need your house plans if you are building new, or, we’ll come to your home to measure your current kitchen. From here we combine your selections and ideas with our expertise to come up with a design for you. When your design is ready we’ll set up a meeting with you at our showroom. At this meeting we take a close look at all the details on a big screen tv in the comfort of our showroom bar. We’ll take the time to review and make changes at this meeting and a lot of the changes will be made while you’re still here. This way we are able to keep any follow up meetings to a minimum to save you time.

Step Five

Proposal

After selections have been made and your designs have been completed; we send you the proposal with the final drawings and your personalized selections gallery. After you approve all those details, we will send you the final pricing and collect the 50 percent down payment to begin building your cabinetry.

Step Six

Engineer & Manufacture

At this point our engineers will review every detail of the project to ensure that every detail is flawless. Then, our team of craftsmen begin creating your new custom cabinetry. We’ll keep you updated as your project moves through the system and send you photos along the way.

Step Seven

Installation

When a beautifully designed kitchen is not installed correctly it makes the final product - well - not so beautiful. In order to ensure that your kitchen is as perfect as you’ve always dreamed it would be, the team who build your cabinets is the same team that installs your cabinets. This ensures that you get the quality and attention to detail that you deserve from start to finish.

It’s as simple as that!

After the countertops are installed you get the joy and satisfaction of moving into your new custom kitchen tailored to you!

Testimonials

Dan and his team were easy to work with throughout the entire process. They were open to the challenge of designing a custom kitchen while incorporating a step-down dining area. Everyone was friendly and professional while in our home. We spent a lot of time working up a design plan ...and the project was completed well down to the last detail. We would definitely be open to working with them again in the future.

This family owned and operated business cares about their customers and the product that they create! I am so happy that I chose to have them do our custom work. They take the time to design and create exactly what you want, and when you really aren't too sure of what you want, they take the time to work with you. My finished product was much better than I had ever thought that it would be! I almost wish that I had another job to hire them to do.
